Where have you been? You don't write! You don't call! I hear you ask, well its been quite an eventful time of late. I've just come back from the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides where I am helping to create a book documenting the people of Uig. The land of Uig is isolated with there only being one single track road in order to get there and a population of around 400 people. It makes living in Uig a unique way of life. It was nothing like I'd experienced before. It was a shame to have to go but I will be looking forward to returning in the Summer. I've also been working on another art project based on portraits of Mothers and their Children which I've photographed all over the UK. This will feature as part of a group exhibition, 'Infinite Light', that will be taking place from the 5-12 May at the new Tempa Tempa Gallery in Carlisle. The exhibition is free and will showcase a range of work from emerging young photographers living in the UK. This work is a new direction for me so if you get a chance do check it out. For more information visit http://www.list.co.uk/event/20040119-infinite-light/ Hope to see you there. Despues GM
